DNOW 2009

DNOW is a weekend like no other. From the surface it may seem like a weekend of mass chaos. But behind the madness is a deep meaning. Students grades 6 thru 12 retreat from the ordinary and spend a weekend intensely focused on God. It is a time of discipleship and spiritual growth that will last for years. No, it’s not all serious, all the time. There is plenty of time for fun with friends. Awesome worship, great Bible study, and loads of fun with friends is just the beginning of what makes DNOW great. Ask anyone who’s been to a DNOW and they will tell you it’s a must-do.
This year’s DNOW will have a new twist. All large group sessions will be held in our auditorium with hundreds of other students from the Greater Mobile Area participating in Leadership Rocks. This world-class, high-energy event will feature speakers Dr. Jay Strack and Brent Crowe and musical guests Pocket Full of Rocks and Group 1 Crew.
Participating in Leadership Rocks, our students will experience Scripture, Christ-centered worship, and leadership development. It will be an event they won’t soon forget.
Registration has already begun and will go through Sunday, March 1. The cost is $60 per student. The cost includes all meals, conference, journal, and t-shirt. To register, turn in your completed registration form along with payment to the CHBC Office or register in the Atrium on Sunday morning. You can also register at The Spot or Wildside on Wednesday nights. You can download all release forms on this website. Any further questions can be answered by calling the the church office.
